Burger King in Wayland temporarily closed by Covid

The Wayland Burger King restaurant, located at 1111 West Superior St., is closed temporarily because of problems with the Covid-19 virus. There also are problems community wide, associated with many people leaving on spring break. It was disclosed that the Wayland Burger King will reopen Monday, April 12. but the web site did indicate it is closed now. The Auction House Cafe was closed today and will closed Thursday because owner Kim Miller Powers caught a virus and insisted on getting herself tested. The results were negative. Pictured at left is a message posted at McDonald’s today and the local Tac Bell was reported to be down temporarily.
